Technical studies and field investigations are often needed to characterize a watershed or a groundwater basin, identify problems and opportunities, demonstrate project feasibility, prepare final designs, evaluate project impacts, and document project benefits.

WRIME provides excellent technical services and analysis capabilities in geology, hydrology, and hydrogeology to support water resources planning and investigations. We can help your community assess complex resource conditions and identify their interrelationships.

Our unique approach consists of:

  • Use of existing public domain data to rapidly characterize basin conditions;
  • Identification of data gaps and prioritization of data needs;
  • Development of cost-effective data collection and field investigation plans; and
  • Development of analytical or numerical tools to evaluate water management alternatives.

When the range of potential solutions are identified and screened, we provide program management services to coordinate field work, evaluate project feasibility, collect new data, and conduct pilot and demonstration projects. WRIME can also help design monitoring programs to ensure compliance with the environmental mitigation requirements or to document the progress in meeting project objectives.

WRIME staff takes pride in our ability to clearly communicate technical data in ways that are understandable to the community and decision makers. Whether as part of a larger planning process, or for development of an environmental document to comply with environmental regulations, we can help you to scope an appropriate and cost effective technical investigation that provides the data and information needed to answer only those questions which need to be addressed to ensure project success.

WRIME is a full services project planning firm that provides technical evaluations and field studies required to fill critical data gaps and provide needed answers to important questions. Our technical studies and high quality analysis and data collection efforts help reduce the risk and uncertainty in decision making.
